Harley Bain
Owner & Optician
Harley Bain is a highly experienced Optometrist with over 30 years in the field of eye care. Originally from South Africa, Harley qualified both there and in the UK, bringing a global perspective to his practice. He worked at Chase Farm Hospital in the Paediatric eye clinic gaining expertise in childrens eye care. In 2001, Harley founded Harley Bain Opticians in Palmers Green, North London, where he and his long-standing team continue to provide expert, personalised eye care for NHS and private patients alike.

Yumi is a highly skilled Dispensing Optician registered under General Opticical Councilthe with over 30 years of experience in the optical industry. She has been a trusted member of the Harley Bain Opticians team since 2005, bringing a deep knowledge of lens technology, frame fitting, and personalised optical solutions. Qualified since 1993, Yumi takes pride in helping patients of all ages find eyewear that fits their needs, lifestyle, and style—with both comfort and clarity. Her warm, attentive approach and dedication to precision have earned her a loyal following among patients in the Palmers Green community.

Caroline has been the friendly face of Harley Bain Opticians for over 20 years. As the Receptionist, she plays a key role in ensuring every patient feels welcome, cared for, and well-informed from the moment they walk through the door.
